In an active town like SF, going out to a yoga class is as much an event as going out to dinner and drinks — which means it's as much about what you're going to wear as it is for meeting a date (except with yoga, tone and zen are what you hope to attain). And it's not necessarily because we're style-obsessed (although some are more than others). But more because we like to look good to feel good. And because correct fitting (and highly functioning) yogawear and accessories make the whole experience that much better. So in this new year, visit these stores to see how far yoga pants have come from the days when they used to slide down your derrière, exposing it to the entire class behind you. The fit, the colors, and the functionality are all on the next level. And, let's face it, we all basically live in our yoga pants for the majority of the day so why not live in great ones.
