Café Coton closed all of its stateside stores early this summer, but the French clothier is making a return. The brand is under new ownership in North America now, and has decided to reopen the Grant Avenue location as the flagship store in this country. The opening ceremony happened earlier this month with one dozen Coton de Tulear dogs (apparently they're quite rare), models, and none other than Willie Brown. This location is the only one on US soil for the brand at the moment. It's also the only retail space in the US to stock 100 percent Egyptian cotton shirts, the brand tells us. If that's the case, then it's all the more reason to take visitors to Union Square where they can stock up on these Willie Brown-approved shirts.
