Pretty much everything! Exceptions: the lucite-heeled shoes and boots, and we did not see any candy-wrapper clutches. But other than that, Maison Martin Margiela for H&M merchandise was in generous supply, despite the nutty folks who camped out to be first in line in various cities. And San Franisco is not alone, lots of Margiela x H&M goods are available in stores in the U.S. and Europe. What does it mean? Are collabs losing their luster? Is Margiela too obscure? Are his designs too weird? (Hair necklaces anyone?) Did they manufacture more than usual? WWD says it was smaller crowds and availability in more stores than usual. Perhaps it's all of the above?
