Back in 2009, Italian design house Alessi sponsored a workshop at the famed Michigan-based graduate school of architecture, Cranbrook Academy of Art. The results were so good that Alessi produced many of the pieces, and is now exhibiting them around the country in a show called Metal Workshop: Cranbrook for Alessi. The West Coast premier kicks off tonight at Zinc Details, purveyor of modern housewares, between 6 and 9pm.
Alessi USA managing director Paolo Cravedi will give a short presentation followed by a Q & A with Zinc Details owner Vas Kiniris. There will also be deals! All the deets are here.
