Not that you needed a reason to cut out of work early on Friday, but here's a good one: Shopping festivities will be taking over Valencia and many of the surrounding side streets from 5:00 until 9:00pm for the fifth annual Mission Block Party. Be on the look out for merchants including Weston Wear, Bell Jar (they'll have a surprise folk band with sets at 6:30 and 8:30), Good Vibrations and Mira Mira offering up beverages, discounts, music and prizes.
