Investors are getting pickier about the startups they're willing to fund according to an article yesterday that echoed a sentiment circulating through Silicon Valley for months post Facebook's disappointing IPO last year. Startups, including fashion-related e-commerce, need to rely less on acquiring users through Facebook and Twitter and find an independent way to engage users.
