Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Bay Area artist Charlotte Kruk makes wearable art, including dresses, handbags and jewelry out of Hershey's miniature wrappers, cake mix boxes, Campbell's Soup labels, Bazooka Joe comics, and whatever else other pretty packaging she can get her hands on. Dogpatch Café in (naturally) the Dogpatch has a collection of her work on exhibit, including the M&Ms matador outfit above. Check it out through January 25 at Dogpatch Café, 2295 Third Street at 20th from 7am until 6pm. It's free!
