Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

MISSION— The majorly anticipated Trick Dog opened today in the Mission as part of the Central Kitchen folks' plans to take over the world. Look for Scotch eggs, a pink floor in the Mezzanine, and cocktails named after Pantone colors. Gypsy Tan, anyone?

OAKLAND—Get a sneak peak at Duende, which is opening in Oakland this Thursday or Friday in the historic Floral Depot building across from Fox theater. Also get a glimpse of the Spanish restaurant/bodega/music venue's menu.

PACIFICA— Jose Calvo-Perez, who already owns three Frescas and a Pasión in San Francisco, is set to open Puerto 27 Peruvian Kitchen & Pisco Bar, a 140-seat restaurant inside the Pacifica Beach Hotel.
