Street Art

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Gap has partnered with emerging street artists (handpicked by Vice) to create 10 murals (titled "Art of Blue") in 6 global cities as a part the SF-based brand's Back to Blue fall marketing campaign. Two of these pieces of artwork can be seen in our city: one (by Zio Ziegler) is located at 1755 Market and the other (by Apexer, pictured right) at 4549 Oak Street. Head over wearing your favorite denim duds — like these 1969 ankle-zip jeans paired with this 1969 jacket — and let the street style image unfold right before your very own camera. [Via Racked inbox]
