Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Azalea has been a mainstay in Hayes Valley now for 10 years—it opened doors on October 4, 2003. Where does the time go? The folks behind this expansive shop, which carries clothing and accessories for both men and women, over the years have expanded to add Welcome Stranger and Rand + Statler to their roster of shops in the Valley. And they celebrated appropriately last week with cronuts, candy, Sofia sparkling, nail art, bang trims, and much revelry, as you can see from the Instagram snaps we've collected from the party. Happy 10th, Azalea!
