As we mentioned previously, the Bay Area is getting two C. Wonder stores this fall. After a slight change of schedule, stores are on track to open on Santana Row in San Jose this weekend, and in Corte Madera the following weekend.
There will be celebrations, of course. After all, this is the store from Christopher Burch (ex of Tory Burch) designed to spread happiness. The first 100 customers on Friday and Saturday (both weekends, both locations) will receive "mystery cards" with prizes of up to 50% off, any purchase of $40 or more gets you a limited edition C. Wonder tote (while supplies last), and look for a "Wheel of Wonder" from 12-5pm—spin it to win products and VIP perks. Plus there will be treats and beverages. There will be no zebras and certainly no submarines, but there will be all the preppy, monogrammed prettiness you can handle.
The Santana Row grand opening is from 10am to 9pm on Friday, November 1st and Saturday, November 2nd at 334 Santana Row, San Jose, CA 95128; (408) 246-1754. The Corte Madera grand opening is on Friday, November 8th from 10am to 8pm and Saturday, November 9th from 10am to 7pm at The Village at Corte Madera, 1530 Redwood Highway, Corte Madera, CA 94925; (415) 927-1059.
