JACKSON SQUARE—La Boutique: L'Art et La Mode is hosting a book signing tonight from 6 to 9pm at their shop at 414 Jackson Street. Beauty guru Caroline Wachsmuth will be on hand to sign her new book SEASONS, which is chock full of DIY tips on how to stay looking your best throughout the year. The fall celebration will also feature local makers including an art Installation and calligraphy by Aoi Yamaguchi of X Flower Couture, sustainable dyes from Saasha Duerr, fine custom jewelry from Catherine Michiels, artisan chocolate from Cocoa Absolut, candles from Love Nature NYC, and floral arrangements by Lizzy McGinn. UNION SQUARE—Ralph Lauren is hosting a breast cancer awareness event tomorrow, Saturday October 5 at 2pm.
