Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

LashSpot has opened an eyelash extension studio in the heart of Japantown, inside New People, your go-to for all thing Japanese pop culture. It's on the 2nd floor, at 1746 Post Street. Whether you fancy customized eyelash extensions, lash tinting, a lash perm (yes that exists), or semi-permanent mascara, Lashspot has you covered. The salon also offers brow, bikini, and facial waxing.

Think that sounds too high maintenance for you? Owner Mikako Toh thinks not: "From granola moms to sassy socialites, every woman appreciates longer, fuller, fabulous looking lashes, especially as the holiday season begins."

To celebrate their grand opening, Lashspot is offering a special deal: get a full set of lashes for $99 (regularly $175) until January 14. Hear that moms? It's the perfect time to prove you're never too granola for some silk or mink lash extensions.
