Video of last year's winter fashion show via YouTube via Lombardi Sports
Lombardi Sports is hosting its 4th annual winter fashion show on Thursday, November 14, from 6 to 9p.m. Each year, the event marks the beginning of the winter sports season. And to sweeten the deal, the it's also the start of a 4-day snow sale. Expect deep discounts of up to 60% off last year's products and up to 20% off this year's gear (the first and only time to score these prices before next February). And if that doesn't motivate you enough to shop, proceeds from the show will go toward the non-profit High Fives Foundation to help non-insured, winter sports athletes with life-altering injuries.
Other details for the night include gift boxes filled with goodies from sponsors (Roxy, Patagonia, and Kjus to name a few) for the first 50 guests to walk through the doors and raffle prizes including the newest GoPro Hero 3. A mix of local athletes, professional models, and shop workers will model this year's trends (like 4-way stretch) while the crowd sips ski lodge beer and listens to the beats of a special musical guest. And following the show, the party continues at local gastropub Taps. RSVP here for free entry and to start your snow season with your best (boot-clad) foot forward.
