After a long, six-month wait, the Alexander McQueen store has finally opened its doors in Union Square. We reported in May that the store would open in September—it's just a few months late, but it's in time for the holidays! The rumor was that the shop might be at 55 Maiden Lane, but in fact the address is 58 Geary Street.
The luxe opening helped keep San Francisco on the top 10 list of most expensive retail locations in the country, along with New York City's Fifth Avenue and Rodeo Drive in Los Angeles. The store carries clothing, shoes and accessories for both men and women. It's open Monday through Saturday from 10am to 6pm, and Sundays from 12pm to 5pm. Check out the photos for a peek and the luxurious interior, and stay tuned for an in-person review later this week.
