Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
After 19 years in SF, Nida is saying goodbye. The store that originated as a family-owned business in Italy jumped oceans and crossed lands to settle in the heart of Hayes Valley in 1995. From the very beginning, Nida specialized in hand selecting hard-to-find European designers and brought 37 seasons of collections to our city by the Bay. It was a slew of sales that started in summer that set tongues wagging that an end was near, and confirmation came this past weekend. You have just two more weeks to shop at Nida where current stock is 80% off in a final clearance sale. Hurry over to bid the store a proper "adieu" because come the new year, there will be no more Nida. Sniff.
