SF resident Jennifer Kirk is the first to file a lawsuit against Target in regards to the massive data breach from earlier this month. Kirk claims that "Target failed to implement and maintain reasonable security procedures and practices." Many more Target Redcard users are following Kirk's lead and filing in federal district courts across the country. Target refrained from commenting, stating that it does not comment on pending litigation. [KTVU]
