Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Sway clothing is soon shuttering its Noe Valley location—but don't get too sad, because the clothing retailer has five other Bay Area locations where you can buy cute dresses and more on the cheap. In July, in fact, the brand opened its newst outpost on Haight Street. Plus, the Noe Valley store is having a giant clearance sale to get ready to vacate the (former Streetlight Records) space. Prices are way low, as little as $1 in some cases, according to the Sway Facebook page. Also look for 50% off everything on their website. The store is open tonight until 7pm, and the closing date for the Noe store is TBD.
The Noe Valley space, meanwhile, will remain vacant until the landlord finds a tenant to pony up the $12k per month rent.
