PACIFIC HEIGHTS—If you haven't yet experienced the beautiful tapestries and designs of Petel, now would be the time to do it. The husband and wife team behind the brand, which consists of bags, pillows and scarves made of fabric woven by the Fulani tribe of Mauritania, are hosting a pop up at the Lisa Bradbury Skincare Salon tomorrow, December 5, from 5:30 to 8:00pm. Wine will be provided by Aldrich Browne and bites will come from the James Beard winning, Michelin Starred State Bird Provisions. Like we said, this is a can't-miss! [Racked Inbox]
POTRERO HILL—Alite Designs, makers of chic camp gear, are throwing a Brew-Ha Holiday Sale on Friday, December 6 from 2 to 8pm and Saturday, December 7 from 11 to 5pm. You'll be treated to an "underground beer pop-up" from Comrade Brewing, a sling shot challenge and target practice with Hella Slingshots, and a major warehouse sale that includes all of Alite's remaining 2013 outdoor gear. The good folks at Alite are donating 5% of warehouse sale profits to Philippines relief efforts. It's all going down at The Alite Outpost at 2505 Mariposa Street. [Racked Inbox]
