You don't hear much about the Crocker Galleria these days. At least you didn't, until Tomboy Tailors, a very of-the-times bespoke suiting boutique for women who wear menswear opened up in the three-story Financial District outdoor mall recently. It turns out Tomboy Tailors isn't an anomaly, it's the first in a series of more than 10 new shops that will be opening up at Crocker Galleria in the next month, including La Luna Cupcakes, Bernie's Coffee, T-We Tea, Project Juice, Storenvy Pop-up Shop, Under One Roof, J.Roland Salon, and Giorgio's Pizzeria.
It's all part of a push from the mall's property management company, Cushman & Wakefield, to revive the glassy space, retail manager Sabrina Goris told us:
Apart from our brokers bringing in several great businesses, I have also partnered with La Cocina and Renaissance Center, two wonderful small business incubators to find unique, quality retailers looking for their first or second brick and mortar shop. Happily, we received tons of interest...
So far, so good—stay tuned for what will open up next!
