Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Alden, a more than 120-year-old shoe company out of Middleborough, Massachusettes, has created four new men's shoe designs exclusively for Unionmade in the Castro. Like all Unionmade's goods, they may not technically be "union made," and they are definitely not cheap, but they are extremely well made and attractive. Check out their other Unionmade-only merch, including Corgi socks and Scott & Charters wool sweaters.
