Saison's $88 Menu; Dennis Leary Takes Over RJ's Sports Bar and Cafe Terminus; More!

Here's the latest and greatest from Eater SF.

SOMA— A week after announcing he'd be offering a $48 canape tasting menu in Saison's lounge, chef Joshua Skenes revised his decision, saying that the menu would be $88 and up from here on out. Meanwhile, SFist posted a photo gallery of Saison's bathroom.

FINANCIAL DISTRICT/TENDERLOIN—Dennis Leary of Canteen and The Sentinel fame is moving forward on two new projects: a takeover of the Tenderloin's RJ's Sports Bar, and all-day Cafe Terminus at California and Drumm.

SF—The James Beard Awards, the Oscars of the food world, announced their longlist of potential nominees. First-time nominees included Rich Table, State Bird Provisions, the beer program at The Abbot's Cellar, Nick Balla of Bar Tartine, and William Werner of Craftsman & Wolves.

FINANCIAL DISTRICT—Claudine, the sister spot to Gitane and Cafe Claude on Claude Lane, has two new projects in the offing: a second location of Chubby Noodle in the Marina, and an Italian deli and fresh pasta shop, Central Station, in North Beach.

TENDERLOIN—Beloved pho purveyor Turtle Tower is losing their lease, so they'll be closing their original Larkin Street location next Wednesday, moving down the street, and reopening in April.

THE MISSION—Blair Warsham of graffEats fame is launching a new Asian-inspired pop-up, American Bao Bar, at Nombe and Southpaw BBQ throughout March.
