Tech VIPs including Marissa Mayer (CEO of Yahoo), Jeremy Stoppelman (founder of Yelp) and Juliet de Baubigny (Kleiner Perkins) were on the planning committee for the annual Mid-Winter Gala at the de Young Museum on Saturday, but there was not a hoodie in sight. Au conraire, local celebs of both the techie and the Getty variety broke out the Lanvin, Armani, Nina Ricci, Jason Wu, Brioni and Louboutin.

San Francisco event planner Ken Fulk created a fantasy winter wonderland, complete with an ice-skating rink where skaters in Dutch master-inspired tweeds and mufflers twirled around a 30-foot ice rink installed in the marquee.

The organizers hoped to raise $600,000 for San Francisco's fine art museums.
