Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Here at Racked, we're all about clothes. But we also find it interesting when our fellow San Franciscans publicly eschew clothing altogether, like many did on Saturday for the World Naked Bike Ride. No one appears to have been arrested during the ride despite a controversial ordinance passed in December banning public nudity. Since exposed genitals is specifically banned, some bikers may have avoided citations by wearing undies, no matter how teeny—though judging by SFist's gallery, that was not always the case. [SFist]
