MISSION—Friday, March 22 is Dance Anywhere Day. At noon Pacific time everyone who wants to participate will stop what they're doing and dance. To celebrate, the folks at ODC Dance Commons are offering a free Rhythm & Motion Fusion class. It's at 351 Shotwell, and it's a ton of fun. [Racked Inbox]

CIVIC CENTER—It's the Freaky-Deaky Friday Costume Box Dance Party, and it sounds liberating: "Put on the weirdest shit you can find in your costume box and come dance your ass off!" For those who don't have a costume box, one will be provided. They'll also have sandwiches while supplies last and cookies by Hey Cookie and DJ Sonny Phono. It's at the Showdown, 10 6th Street.
