Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Our friends at San Francisco-based blogging outfit Remodelista have teamed up with French design firm Jielde to create this lovely bronze table lamp, sold exclusively online at Horne (which is out of Philly). That's a lot of geographies, and we think the lamp has enough style to represent them all.
It's part of Jielde's Signal series, which was launched in 2003 to compliment Jean-Louis Domecq's designs from the 1950s. It's handmade in Lyon, France, fully adjustable at every joint and custom powder-coated with a high gloss finish—each one even has its own serial number. Look for more Remodelista + Horne collabs coming soon!
