What If Capo's Deep Dish Pizza Were an Outfit?

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Capo's pizza is on Eater's Heatmap of places to eat NOW in the SF Bay Area, and our mouths are watering over the North Beach restaurant's deep dish, Chicago-style pizza. This is the Big Jim stuffed, holy cow. Besides being presumably delicious—how could it possibly not be—it's quite pretty, isn't it, with its bright red sauce contrasted with white dollops of cheese? And that crust. Goodness.

Our outfit, with a red and white vintage jumpsuit as its centerpiece, has way fewer calories but we hope it does the pizza justice. It features some spendy pieces (Pamela Love necklace for $2k anyone?) and major bargains (Wet Seal floppy had for $13, yes please!). We hope you'll agree it looks good enough to eat.

Vintage 80s jumpsuit, $40; Pamela Love necklace, $2,005; Crochet band floppy hat, $13; Nars red nail polish $19; Norma Kamali cat eye sunglasses, $98; Maison Martin Margiela silver cuff set, $995; Tory Burch Vanetta basket weave platform sandal, $350; Christopher Kane flower-embossed leather clutch, $569
