Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Friday April 12 is Lomography's Film Photography Day, a celebration of the type of picture-taking that you darn kids probably never experienced—for better or for worse. Lomography's stance is that there's quite a bit to be said for old school film shooting, so they're setting aside a whole day of parties and giveaways to celebrate the lost art. San Francisco's own Lomography shop at 309 Sutter Street will be partying it up during business hours from 11am to 7pm.
In addition to buy-one-get-one-free deals, the kind folks at Lomography are giving one lucky Racked SF reader a La Sardina DIY camera worth $109.
Want to win it? Today's newsletter will include a secret phrase, which will arrive in your inbox sometime after 3:30pm. Be the fourth person to email the phrase to sf@racked.com, and they're yours. Not a newsletter subscriber? You can sign up in the box below.
