Galanter & Jones is a furniture company dedicated to keeping San Francisco derrieres toasty, in an aesthetically-pleasing way, of course. Aaron Jones, a furniture designer who lives in Glen Park, noticed that SF merchants tend to leave their door ajar—the better to lure shoppers, but with a chilly result thanks to SF fog. His solution is the seating you see above, which houses a sensor and heater so it knows when your tush needs toasting. Flora Grubb has one you can check out in person.
