The design duo behind local shoe brand Freda Salvador are hosting their first-ever sample sale at their new San Francisco boutique-slash-workshop at 1782 Union Street on Thursday, April 18th from 6 to 9pm. Prices will range between $60 and $80 dollars—the shoes and boots typically hover around $400, so this is one you won't want to miss.

"We have a lot of 7's and 9's," Megan Papay, one of the Freda Salvador designers told us, "and then a few in between." A variety of styles will be available from their fall and winter 2012 collection, she said.

Papay and Cristina Nelson launched the brand last fall, and their shoes were quickly scooped up Saks Fifth Avenue, Anthropologie and Shopbop in short order. They were also honored with a nomination by Fashion Group International for the Rising Star Award in the accessories division.
