First, please note the category of this post: Rumormongering. We have no confirmation, but a little birdie (one of our favorite little birdies, who also has one of the best Twitter handles ever) told us that Alexander McQueen might be opening up a boutique at 55 Maiden Lane in the space where the now-defunct Downtown was located until the end of April. McQueen has stores in New York, Los Angeles and Las Vegas—this would be the brand's fourth U.S. location. Have some intel? Hit the tipline, s'il vous plait.
