Someone at Lululemon's store at the corner of Ashby and College in Berkeley thought it was a good idea to post a sign in the window that reads: "Got Sweaty Balls?" The subhead is: "Best. Boxer. Briefs. Ever." So it's not even some kind of double entendre. It's just a reference to a man's perspiring nether regions. And who really wants to ever think about that.
But now the whole neighborhood is, and Berkleyside reports that some passersby are offended, while others think it's harmless and borderline funny. The site also reports that the sweaty balls campaign is not company-wide, but special to the Berkeley Lululemon.
The boxer briefs in question sell for between $24 to $48. The Berkeley location recently reopened after a three-month renovation. Apparently they wanted to come back with a bang.
