If your dreams of visiting Versailles this Summer seem destined not to come true, no need to sulk—artist Aaron Bujak will unveil his "Le Petit Versailles," a furnished, architectural model of Marie Anointette's suite of rooms this Thursday, June 20 from 5 to 8pm, as part of the Third Thursdays series. Bujak is installing his mini Versailles at luxury home goods shop Hewn, located inside the San Francisco Design Center.
Kick off SF Design Week (which starts Friday) by touring all the miniature rooms (1/12 the original size) of the famously indulgent queen's palace. Bujak will be present for questions, and if you experience a sudden craving for macarons you can conveniently snap some up at Bonjour Patisserie just down the road (but plan ahead, it closes at 6pm).—Esther Hahn
