UNION SQUARE—John Fluevog is throwing a charity event to benefit Grace Cathedral's Bayview Mission program. The group suplies food and clothing and creates programs for Bayview-Hunters Point residents. Guests who donate clothes, shoes or canned goods will receive an exclusive Fluevog gift bag, woo! It's happening at 253 Grant Ave from 4 to 9pm on Saturday June 22. [Racked Inbox]
MISSION—Want to go camping, but don't have a car? On Saturday, Alite will teach you how to bike camp. Which means you do have to have a bike, or one to borrow. Workshops will run on the hour from 1-5pm (4pm is the last start time) and a Public Bikes mechanic will be on site from 2-4pm to help get your bike camping ready. BBQ corn and free beer will be served. Be there at 2505 Mariposa Street on Saturday, June 22. [Racked Inbox]
