OAKLAND—If you happen to be in the area, stop by Atomic Garden at 5453 College Avenue this coming Friday, June 28, between 6pm to 8pm, Atomic Garden for a reception for Brooklyn-based artist MP Landis, and his mixed-media Warehouse Drawings series, which will be on display at AG through July.
And come back the following day, Saturday, June 29 between 11am and 4pm for a bake sale fundraiser to save the gardening and cooking program at Berkeley's Willard Middle School. If you don't care about that, go for the homemade mint lemonade (with edible flowers frozen in ice cubes, omg), fruit tarts, lemon bars, and chocolate pudding with an Oreo "dirt" crumble served in mini pots with mint sprigs. Atomic Garden will match all funds raised during the bake sale. [Racked Inbox]
