The De Young Fine Arts Museum in Golden Gate Park will get very blingy come September when it will receive a Bulgari exhibition called "The Art of Bulgari: La Dolce Vita & Beyond, 1950-1990," which will run through February 17, 2014. It solidifies the museum's regard for fashion as art, following previous shows from Cartier, Yves St. Laurent, Balenciaga and Jean Paul Gaultier. It will also be the first time Bulgari has been shown in an American museum. Look for an enormous fancy-colored diamond brooch, a bib necklace formerly in Elizabeth Taylor's collection, a divine gold choker festooned with Greek coins, and lots more.
