Yesterday, Wendy Davis solidified her standing as a feminist hero when she filibustered for 11+ hours against a Texas abortion bill that would have shut down abortion clinics across the state and imposed myriad other new restrictions. Smartly, she wore running shoes—Mizuno Wave Riders to be precise. Though her filibuster was cut off early, the bill did not pass. [Racked]
