Brit Morin, the face of San Francisco-based DIY website Brit + Co. has landed $6.3 million in investments from Oak Investment Partners and several others. The site publishes how-to guides on topics including 100 things you can serve on a stick, how to upgrade your BLT with a peach, and ways to add bows to your hairdo.
It's the stuff of internet fantasy and obsession clicking. It's Pinterest with context. And now we'll have even more of it to enjoy—or to feel guilty about not having time for such extracurricular activities. Happily, the company also sells readymade kits for those who don't want to bother with scouring Micheal's for craft supplies.
