MISSION—Hopefully you don't yet have plans tonight, because this is a good one: The denim connoisseurs at Self Edge on Valencia are teaming up with the photography mavens down the street at Photbooth to celebrate their new, one-of-a-kind camera. It's a giant tintype camera built by hand by Photobooth co-founder Michael Shindler, and it's going to be rad. Five guests will win free giant tintype portraits! And Racer 5 IPA will be served. It's happening at 1193 Valencia from 7 to 9pm. There's still time to RSVP here. [Racked Inbox]
MISSION—Looks like party hopping is on the agenda tonight: Nooworks is throwing a party starting at 6pm tonight at their 395 Valencia Street store to celebrate a new art show with work by Emily Glaubinger and Sean Newport, who have collaborated to transform the former's intricate illustrations into 3d pieces by incorporating Sean's wood sculptures. Music will be by Wild Hum and Philip ManleyLife Coach. [Racked Inbox]
