FILLMORE—Tech types have been using their coding skills to hack the reservation system at mega-popular State Bird Provisions—and the rest of SF isn't happy about it.

SAN FRANCISCO—Summer may be in permanent delay, but that doesn't mean there's no time to indulge in a great fish taco.

SOMA—The Wise Sons Deli outpost at the Contemporary Jewish Museum is open as of today. Check out photos and a menu.

UPTOWN OAKLAND—The team behind Drake's Brewing and Berkeley beer bar Jupiter is opening an enormous beer garden (with live music and fire pits) at 23rd and Broadway.

UPTOWN OAKLAND—Vandals (possibly motivated by the Trayvon Martin protests) set Hawker Fare on fire over the weekend, but they came back strong, reopening last night.

PIEDMONT/THE EMBARCADERO/THE MISSION—We've got three more Eater Insides to share: Rustic, a new Mission pizzeria and bocce palace; Homestead, the new Oakland comfort-food spot that's opening tonight; and Bar of Arrr, the New Zealand beer bar at the America's Cup.

DOGPATCH/NOB HILL—Other new spots coming online this week: the revamped Dogpatch Saloon, and Iron & Steam, a coffee bar inside the Hi-Lo Club on Polk.

THE MISSION—Here's a heartwarming entry in our Shit People Steal series: a racy photograph that's been stolen over and over from Blue Plate finally made it home, thanks to a remorseful former alcoholic.
