The SFMOMA Is Closed, but at Least We Can Shop

In June we bid farewell to SFMOMA as it underwent an extreme expansion that won't be completed until 2016. We'll be waiting for what seems like an eternity, but here's a little consolation: at least we can still shop. The MuseumStore reopened yesterday at 51 Yerba Buena Lane.

It's a temporary location, but it's fully stocked on artwork-inspired, one-of-a-kind accessories and home decor, an extensive library of books, and a cheerful kids section.

If this beautiful retail space is any indication, we can only imagine how spectacular the new museum will look in a couple years.—Denise Kitt
