The fashion set loves it, and and the hardcore tech set even likes it in all its rainbow glory. The new iPhone 5c is made of hard-coated polycarbonate plastic and comes in blue, green, white, yellow, and, yes, pink. Reviewers say the plastic is a bit easier to grip, so hopefully it will mean fewer shattered screens. Also awesome in the aesthetics department: iOS 7 will automatically match the color of your iPhone 5c, right out of the box, fun! (The cases, on the other hand, are getting less favorable reviews.)
The good news in the budget department is that the 16GB will cost $100, and the 32GB is $200. If you buy it outside of a contract, however, prices are $550 and $650 respectively—yikes. Pre-orders start this Friday and Apple says you'll receive your phone by Friday September 20th. Which color will you choose?
