In 2002, Woodside-native Tineke Triggs ditched her tech gig for interior design, starting her own firm Artistic Designs For Living. Now, the SF-based designer has custom hardware and furniture on the way, according to California Home + Design.

Triggs reveals everything from her favorite, personal design item ("My 6x5 foot photo of the wild horses of sable by Roberto Duesto") to her shopping tips ("1stdibs is one of the best places to shop for unique one of a kind items") to why she would splurge on a bath over a kitchen. The profile is worth a read whether you're scouting her to put her magic touch on your home or you're looking for some pro DIY pointers. And from the sound of it, Triggs' custom-designed products will hit the market in the not-so-distant future.
