HEALDSBURG—Douglas Keane is a Top Chef Master: he took home the $100K grand prize for his Green Dog Rescue charity on Wednesday night, and is the second Bay Area chef in a row to win (after Chris Cosentino).
SOMA/NORTH BEACH—Big bar news: Future Bars, the minds behind Bourbon & Branch, want to open a bar in North Beach, while the team behind Little Skillet is taking over the bar next door to their takeout window, with cocktails and fried chicken 'til midnight.
