French upscale cool-kid clothing chain The Kooples looks to be opening soon at 2241 Fillmore, the location of the former Clary Sage store, just next door to the Clay Theater (between Sacramento and Clay). The brand announced it would open its first U.S. outpost in Los Angeles late last year, and New York and San Francisco are next on The Kooples' list. We've reached out to to the brand to confirm when we can buy its edgy-chic garb—we'll keep you posted as we hear back. With Parisian Sandro right down the street, it looks like the French invasion on Fillmore is in full force.
