You might have already considered Kelly Wearstler to be a design icon, but next week it will be official. On Tuesday, February 4, CA Home + Design magazine will honor the interior maven (plus clothing and jewelry designer) with tis annual Design Icon award. Wearstler will be in town for the magazine's awards gala and awards ceremony at the San Francisco Design Center.
"Kelly Wearstler defines California design with her raw-meets-refined aesthetic and glamorous celebration of natural materials," CH+D mag editor Erin Feher tells interior design industry pub Editor at Large. Last year, SF-based architect and interior designer Orlando Diaz-Azcuy became the Cali mag's first Design Icon.
A dozen total award winners will be named across categories including residential interior design, residential architecture, landscape design, new product design and more. If you'd like to join in on the design fun, plus a silent auction of artworks based on the shape of our home state, you can buy tickets for $40 here.
