Word broke last week that Amazon would be opening a NYC pop-up store across from the Empire State Building, and —surprisingly— the world continued to function as if it was no big deal. Perhaps news of two additional Amazon pop-ups in California will shake things up? The online retailer that sells everything from dish scrubbies to scuba gear will bring a curated selection of its wares to Westfield Centre starting next Wednesday, October 22nd, GeekWire reports. While there's no date for the second location, Amazon confirms that it will be in Sacramento. Sorry, Los Angeles! You'll just have to keep ordering your Kindles online like the flyover states.
