That electricity in the air today is either the October heatwave or excitement about the 2014 Racked Awards. (We prefer to think it's the latter.) Tomorrow, we kick off our (now) annual tradition spotlighting the best stores, services, and style stars in the city. From October 3 through October 16, we'll profile a new winner each day in categories like favorite Bay Area fashion blogger, best men's store, and most life-changing service. First up: best fitness newcomer. Considering the explosion in SF's boutique fitness scene over the last year, it was not an easy choice.
