CASTRO— Just in time for Halloween, there's going to be a block party on Castro Street from Market to 18th Street next Thursday, October 30th, to celebrate the end of the Castro Streetscape Improvement Project. Festivities begin at 6pm at the rainbow crosswalks at 18th and Castro with an invocation from the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence. A bunch of politicos will then take a bow before turning the show over to the San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus and other entertainment. [Hoodline]
