COW HOLLOW— The Dryansky Gallery, a new art gallery in Cow Hollow, is hosting a grand opening reception on Thursday, October 23rd, from 6-9pm at 2120 Union Street. The gallery's first exhibition will feature bold and colorful photographs by artist and gallery co-owner Geoffrey Dryan. Shot in San Francisco, the Bay Area and Santa Fe, New Mexico, Dryan's subjects of street portraits and classic cars in suburbia trigger a sense of nostalgia and communicate the artist's search for "home" in both space and time. Complimentary sparkling wine and French cream puffs from Choux Bakery will be served. RSVP here. [Racked Inbox]
HAIGHT ASBHURY— Piper's Shoe Parlor (1682 Haight Street) is having a clog party on Thursday, October 23rd from 6-9pm. Stop by to design your own Maguba clogs, and possibly have a glass of wine or two. [Facebook]
